Sweet Carrot Recipe
The natural sweetness of carrots is accentuated in this dish with apple juice, honey, and brown sugar. Try it on a picky eater and see if it doesn’t make a carrot-lover out of your child!

Glazed Sweet Carrot Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon (15 mL) butter
- 1 16-ounce (500 g) package peeled trimmed baby carrots
- 1 cup (250 mL) apple juice
- 1 teaspoon (5 mL) honey
- 1 tablespoon (15 mL) brown sugar
Directions
Melt butter in large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the baby carrots and sauté until carrots begin to brown slightly, about ten minutes.
Add apple juice and honey and bring to boil. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer until carrots are tender, stirring occasionally, about twenty minutes and the juice and honey form a glaze. Transfer to a serving dish, sprinkle with brown sugar, and serve immediately.
