Fresh Carrot Juice Recipe

Unlike juice you buy at the grocery store, this carrot juice recipe will provide you with as much nutrition as flavor!  Wait until you are ready to juice before cutting the fruit.  Use a tart apple such as Granny Smith for a tart, bright taste, or a sweet, mild apple such as Red Delicious for a smoother taste.


Warning: do NOT use these cooking oils!

This may actually suprise you.. Some of these oils are healthy and some are VERY unhealthy -- soybean oil, olive oil, coconut oil, corn oil, etc... Let's take a closer look. (click here)

Ingredients

  • 1 large apple, quartered
  • ½ cup (125 mL) fresh chunked pineapple
  • 3 large carrots, peeled
  • 2 teaspoons (10 mL) fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon (15 mL) honey

Directions

Juice apple, pineapple, carrots, and ginger in a juicer.

Stir honey into fresh juice and serve immediately.
